  • Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS)
    “The Australian Institute of Marine Science is one of the most innovative and progressive research laboratories in the world with unparalleled capability in the field of cutting-edge tropical marine science and technology. AIMS was established by the Australian Government in 1972 under the Australian Institute of Marine Science Act 1972 in recognition of the importance of marine assets, especially the Great Barrier Reef, to Australia. Today AIMS is recognised worldwide for the quality of its research into marine environments, and their resources including biotechnology and aquaculture.”

  • The Global Coral Reef Alliance (GCRA)
    “The Global Coral Reef Alliance is a small, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to growing, protecting and managing the most threatened of all marine ecosystems—coral reefs. Founded in 1990. GCRA is a coalition of volunteer scientists, divers, environmentalists and other individuals and organizations, committed to coral reef preservation. We primarily focus on coral reef restoration, marine diseases and other issues caused by global climate change, environmental stress and pollution.”
  • Reef Relief
    “REEF RELIEF is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to preserve and protect living coral reef ecosystems through local, regional, and global efforts.”
  • International Coral Reef Initiative (ICRI)
    “The International Coral Reef Initiative (ICRI) is a partnership among governments, international organizations, and non-government organizations. It strives to preserve coral reefs and related ecosystems by implementing Chapter 17 of Agenda 21, and other relevant international conventions and agreements. The secretariat of the Initiative is currently co-host by the governments of Japan and Palau.”
